About the Assessment System Requirements

Site Administrators

One designee at each school is the “Site Administrator” who will:

  • Identify assessment groups (students who take the assessment during the same class period)
  • Create student data files
  • Upload student data files
  • Schedule assessment dates
  • Change scheduled assessment dates and upload new student data files, if necessary
  • Generate individual student user names and passwords

Students

Student passwords are valid within a 24-hour assessment window for the date selected by the “Site Administrator.”

Students use their TLAP-generated user names and passwords to access the assessment from the TLAP Web site at: https://www.coloradotechliteracy.org/Registration/Pages/Login.aspx

Students must select one answer for each question. They may not go back once they have submitted an answer to a question.

Each student may complete the assessment only once. If students are interrupted, they may log in again to continue their assessment within the 24-hour assessment window.

If students are interrupted and unable to log back in within the assessment window, the site administrator must repeat the process of uploading the student data file and scheduling a new assessment to generate new passwords for those students. The students may then log in to complete the assessment.
